Fall Projects

In October, the town that I live in has a Fiesta de la Paloma (festival of the dove). This year  some friends of ours have very kindly allowed my sister and I to share their booth. The fiesta is less than three weeks away so we have been sewing constantly! Here is a little preview of the things we will be selling.

Designing a Dress

Shabby Apple is having a dress design contest for their spring 2011 collection and I am working on an entry. I am really excited! This is my first 

time to make a dress with my own pattern. I was able to try my dress on today. There are a few things that need adjusting, but I am happy with the progress so far. I will post pictures when it is finished!
