To Brighten Your Day!

Recently I was at a flower arranging class. The teacher shared how flowers brighten her life and add comfort and pleasure to the home. She encouraged us to make arrangements with flowers from our garden and use whatever we have available for vases.

I put this arrangement together a few days ago. The wooden box is an antique cheese box we found in a farmhouse we used to live in. I picked sunflowers that grow wild along our road and placed them in some Dr. Pepper bottles we've saved. Soda bottles make very fun flower vases!

These flowers make me smile and I just had to share pictures of them!

I hope you are having a good day!

  3. So pretty! I planted sunflowers in the spring, but they are still far from blooming. I'm looking forward to a bouquet this fall.

  9. This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free.
