Toiletry Bag

This toiletry bag is super easy to make and it seriously only takes 5 minutes! I love mine for traveling. I learned how to make these when I was in 4-H. Our group made them for the Ronald McDonald house.

To make a toiletry bag you only need two things! A washcloth and ribbon.

First, fold the bottom of the washcloth up about two thirds and pin to make a pocket.

Cut a piece of ribbon about 24" long. Fold it in half and tuck it in at the top of one side seam of the bag and pin.

Sewing along the edge of the washcloth stitch the two layers together.

Place pins in the top of the pocket wherever you want divisions in the pocket. I made a large pocket 4 3/4". wide, two smaller pockets 3" wide, and a tiny pocket 1 5/8" wide which is perfect for a toothbrush.

Make divisions by sewing down the pocket starting at the spots you marked with pins.

Done! Fill it with a toothbrush, toothpaste etc. and you're set.
