Refashion Friday: another dress to skirt

Here is a quick refashion I did the other night. 

I took the top off this dress,


sewed the waistband back together and added a zipper to the opening in the back.

I love the pattern around the hem.


Perfect to wear this fall!

    That is such a cute skirt! I like it much better than a dress. Next time I see a dress in a store with a nice pattern that doesn't fit as a dress or I don't like as a dress, I just might buy it anyway and make it into a skirt. :)

    I love what you did, and I love that skirt!! I have done that several times to various dresses where I didn't like the top part of it as much as I liked the skirt. Very cool:)
