1 year!

One year ago today I started my little blog. I have enjoyed sharing what I made with you and I hope that it has inspired you somewhat in your own crafty pursuits. Thank y'all so much for reading and commenting!

Over the past year I have written tutorials and designed a top and a dress. This next year I would like to learn how to make epatterns. I am working on figuring out how to make a printable pattern of my flip flop refashion to share with y'all.

Wreath Makeover

For my Mom's birthday, Abigail and I redid the wreath on our front door.

It was pretty old and in need of a change.

So we made a variety of felt flowers to replace the old decorations, choosing colors that would match our house.

We love, love it and so does Mom. We fixed it while she was away so it was a total surprise! I think it looks so pretty on our front door.

p.s. this is my 50th blog post. just thought that was kind of fun!

Lens Love

I am very excited to be participating in a new photography site called Lens Love.  If you are interested in photography you should definitely check it out! We will be posting a picture a day.
